The XML-Editor TIM-XMAX is an intuitively operable and powerful XML editor integrated directly in XML authoring and content management system TIM-RS®. TIM-XMAX is based on XMAX by JustSystems and was further developed especially for TIM-RS®. With TIM-XMAX you collect the contents of your documents in a structured manner, manage them as modules in the XML content management system TIM-RS® and use them just via drag and drop. So, you work comfortably in a window and keep track! You decide if you work "with" or "without tags", TIM-XMAX presents the contents in a visually attractive way. Therefore, the collection in the XML environment is easy and trouble-free.

The XML-Editor TIM-XMAX guides through the structure and supports you when collecting the contents. Thereby, it does not allow any violation of the valid structure. TIM-XMAX shows you in which element of the context the cursor is located and which elements are allowed. TIM-XMAX supports to enter metadata for the classification of the modules, so that they are quickly found to re-use, even in the right language. Pattern reduce the insertion

Frequently recurring combinations of elements can be stored as patterns (pattern, pre-defined blocks) and inserted as often as required into modules. The complex insertion of single elements does not apply.

Use Modules

TIM-XMAX offers various templates for the creation of new XML modules. It supports nested modules and therefore, a high re-use of them is ensured. You have access to the metadata of the XML modules and you can edit them at any time. These inform, e. g. in which documents a module is used. When you open a module TIM-XMAX detects old child modules. You can update these modules or separate them from TIM-RS®. When you save or close a module TIM-XMAX checks the structure and report structure violations.

Embed pictures

By TIM-XMAX you use the integrated pictures and graphics management of TIM-RS®. You only enter graphics from TIM-RS® into your modules. The direct access to the graphics management allows quick and efficient work.
